Tea Party Demonstrators Outside the Capitol
Gary and I headed to the Capitol where I snapped a few photos of demonstrators outside the House of Representatives. The Tea Party protesters are an angry bunch.

Lazy Sunday
My day: Savoring the smell of spring wafting through the windows as I dress. Watching sunbathers laying out in Lincoln Park and smiling at the children playing nearby. Dodging my way through thousands of demonstrators on the Mall. Admiring an elderly man, ostensibly a veteran, kneeling silently at the steps of the Capitol, an American flag in his hands.

2010 Indoor Track Championship at Denison University
Last week, March 5-6, 2010, Denison hosted their annual conference indoor track championships. Alex ran well, securing a first place award in the distance medley relay. I finally had the opportunity to stay in the Buxton Inn - it was well worth it. It's sort of like staying at your best friend's grandmother's house: light on ammenities but heavy on charm. It was cheap, too. I'll be staying there again the next time I find myself in Granville, OH.
